Bones and All
it's beautifully cruel. it has that cliche of the cannibalism as a metaphor for love, but i like how it touches on loneliness, on the feeling of wanting to belong somewhere and knowing that there's nowhere in the world where you truly belong. the body that feeds on other bodies carries a soul that hungers for something more, for something beyond the veil of just being human. we all ache to be seen as more than mere sacks of flesh, the understanding, the love, the knowing that we're not alone on what we feel... it's the epitome of the human existence as a whole. the body rots, but the soul remembers.
