Thunderbolts*
It felt like more than just a super hero movie to me. As someone who has been struggling with mental health issues pretty much my whole life, I saw myself in Bob's void, the urge to be more than just the invisible kid who's good for nothing, wanting to show the world that I'm more than just my ghosts. I saw myself in Yelena's grief, the paralyzing feeling that you're not supposed to be alive after that person you loved so deeply passes away, that your life has no meaning anymore. I felt seen. I felt hugged. It was adult me who watched the movie, but it was that young broken kid from my past that was healed, in a way. At the end of the day, we just want someone to surround us and pull us out of the darkness. It definitely became one of my favourite marvel movies of all time.
