Casino

Still love Casino, and still holds up as my favourite of the legendary Martin Scorsese’s filmography. It’s certainly “Scorsese at his most Scorsese”, and you could see that as a downside, but I love it for that reason. Casino and Goodfellas do indeed fight for the top spot in the extensive list of Scorsese’s many films for me, and arguably many do see Goodfellas as his best, viewing Casino as a spiritual sequel with the many similarities, but I see that as Scorsese just being “his most Scorsese”, and considering I love the director, I love the film for that.
