Sunset Boulevard

This is … absolutely magical .  The only thing i can critique it on is that I wish there was both a black and white AND color version . It would go unbelievably hard . However the black and white is perfect . Looks outstanding , and I love the blocking .  Love the old “ leading man “ trope , I’ve missed it since my childhood … few can compete with Cary Grant though , and William Holden was pretty close in this … and Gloria Swanson was even better . What is Buster Keaton doing here ? Max is also an absolutely excellent character . Billy Wilder might just be one of them ones . I didn’t know black and white movies could have this insane of world building . I see where Twin Peaks gets a few character name inspirations , and just Lynches work as a whole . This is no doubt one of the best stories ever told .
