Rush Hour 2

Rush hour is a franchise built on carefully crafted and beautifully constructed dialogue along with chemistry between the 2 main characters involving high stakes tensions balanced with comedy, humor, and action. Rush hour is simply one of those shut my brain off franchises to where you don’t need to be paying attention much to know what’s going on, and that’s what makes the series special in general. As you get to see the 2 main characters slowly adapt to each other and share in each other’s virtues throughout the franchise over time, expressing things like brotherhood, emotion, love, friendship you name it. To be fair, I would never think Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan would make a good duo in a franchise like this, but director and producer “brett ratner” somehow makes it work, and I’m all here for it.
