the way this movie had virtually no sex yet managed to be maybe the most sensual film i’ve ever seen is incredible, i’m in awe. the concept of tennis being a relationship & their relationships intertwining with the game is such a dynamic and effective metaphor omgggg. the characters were so complex despite having relatively simple motivations, the accompanying soundtrack & camerawork were phenomenal & my god THE ACTING. i loved this film & i hate myself for not watching it sooner!! sorry jaidyn if u see this :/ ill rewatch
