Wicked

i genuinely cannot get enough of this movie. i’ve seen it five times through. the way they portray discrimination just reminds me of how alienated i felt as a black woman in white dominated spaces— how i wanted to change or hide but eventually learned to adjust and then move forward into my own identity. also i just love musicals. the tunes are spectacular and steven schwartz with the little “if you hear you hear” chords is so cool. like putting the tube of unlimited into random moments where elphaba felt inspired or the adding the tune of “what is this feeling” into the interactions between elphaba and glinda
