Chernobyl
*What is the cost of Lies?
*First of all, this line goes so fucking hard and second, this show is an absolute must-watch as it incredibly represents the tragic event that is Chernobyl.
The performances in this miniseries are absolutely fantastic as they perfectly capture the tone of the event. Every single character stood out in such significant and the way their development grows throughout the span of only 5 episodes is fucking lovely. Especially towards the main trio of the show who gave out real and genuine performance of the real-life figures (Except for Ulana), especially the last scene of Boris and Valery which almost shed a tear which I had to clench my buttcheeks for.
The scenery in this miniseries is beautiful, the lost and dark, quiet yet loud, and beautiful and horrific town of Chernobyl after the incident.
The show manages to be great at storytelling and breaking down the events in a dramatic yet truthful way. It perfectly sends a message of not only corrupt officials or of a flawed act of a country but a flaw in humans generally. Great fucking TV show.
