Donnie Darko

This film is very subtle with slowly unwrapping Donnie's character as a whole. At first, it seems like Donnie is just a curious boy who wants to know the mystery of Frank. It gradually becomes emotional and very personal to me, too. I think Richard Kelly was ahead of his time when he created this piece. The coalescence of philosophy and science, two very opposite things coming together and actually making sense, was a very unconventional way of (will edit im sleepy) I would definitely watch this film again and if given a chance, with a company.
