The Penguin
"You know, Oz, people underestimate you, but not me. I've always known you were capable of more."
I have not felt so confused while watching a show and deciding whether to continue saying Oz is my goat or start hating him. This might be the only show where I wished the worst for the main character.
The Penguin does a great job at making a good impression on people, breaking their trust, and spoiling their anticipation. However, this is not limited to the characters he interacted with in the show. Oswald Cobb reeled me in from the beginning and I actually called him my GOAT, but he fooled all of us. He played the big game, made us root for him and prayed for his downfall, but he still won in the end. He proved that this was his show and no one else was going to steal the spotlight from him. This wasn't going to be titled "The Hangman". No. This is The Penguin, and Colin Farrell is one hell of a motherfucker who brought life to such a brilliant character.
Amazing cast. Amazing producers. Amazing team. Matt Reeves yet again cooked and I cannot wait to see what the sequel to The Batman has to offer. See y'all in 2027.
