Django Unchained
8.6So many things to love in this film but there is also a few things to dislike i will start with what i like. Before this film i thought leo was a bit overrated because i didnt think he was great in aviator and other films but he is soooooo good in this and it might be my favourite performances ever, the tension in this film is great i couldn't take my eye of this film the second we enter candyland it is so engrossing and this is also helped by the great cinematography.
Now onto what i don't like. I don't mind violence in films if they serve a purpose or make it more exciting but i feel it is so over done here even for a tarantino film. I also didnt like how with just one winter of training somehow django turns into a superhero and is able to kill like 80 men. I also feel like the final 30 minutes dragged on compared to the exciting climax. Without these problems i probably would of gave it a 9 or 9.1 but besides all these its a great film
