A strong and powerful premise for sure. The regrets Naho while on paper seem to be small, they lead up to the biggest regret of all: not saving Kakeru.
It’s crazy to think back at all those small moments in your life and if you changed one small thing, like not extending an invite to someone or saying hi to them in the hallways, compounded over time it could’ve led to a whole different situation/set of choices.
While the story, the symbolism, and mental health struggles are represented very well, I wished we got to see more fleshed out nuanced characters aside from Kakeru, Naho, and Suwa. the others just seemed to be around and just a part of the group.
