An absolute rollercoaster of emotions accompanied by a variety of experiences throughout the lives of this family which all add to the human condition. Grieve. Hatred. Forgiveness. And finding happiness in against all the odds. This movie is so well made and put together with everything in the movie meaning something with the characters and their emotions. The soundtrack playing such a major role in the film’s direction is unlike anything I’ve seen before. With the first half of the film feeling like Kanye West: angry, above all, and crazy. From going to Frank Ocean: calm, happy, and showing Emily’s healing. All for her to forget her guilt and heal fully. Damn the human condition is really one we will never understand.
