Sing Sing

actually speechless. i don’t know why more people ARENT talking about or watching this film!!! i didn’t really know what to expect going into it but to say i was just blown away by every single thing. having almost all of the actors play themselves made this just so much more organic and lively— like literally seeing “as himself” pop up when the credits rolled had my jaw dropped. colman domingo is OUTSTANDING in this. like my god, he needs an oscar for his performance. every frame of this film is so beautiful and being shot on 16 mm definitely elevated it to the max.  art is therapy for the soul. easily one of the best films of 2024!
