Squid Game

Re-reviewing this again because I just finished season 2 and ima say it, season 2 was significantly better than the first and I’m sorry. Season two actually gave me characters I cared about and made their unfortunate ends so much more painful and devastating to me at least. Like season 2 has the main guy, the mother and son, the pregnant woman, the crypto asshole who is the babies father, player 100 who’s an asshole, that one guy who’s there because his daughter has blood cancer, and thanos. I may not remember their names but god dammit they feel like real people. My favorite character being the trans woman who just wants money to move to Taiwan so she can finish her transition and buy a house there and she is so real for that. Season 2 is a great dark middle chapter and I hope season 3 keeps the momentum and also hopefully season 3 is the final season. I don’t want to see this story get dragged out longer than it needs to. All in all; Season 1: 3/5 Season2: 4/5  Hers hoping season 3 ends the story in a satisfying and gut wrenching way.
