Spider-Man
Spider-Man is probably the most flawed movie that’s utterly perfect. It’s just a blast to watch again, and again, and again… This was my first watch since I started to use Letterboxd, and it genuinely boggles my mind that I didn’t rewatch this sooner.
Seeing this movie so much as a kid (my dad found the DVD at a discount during a RV trip around 2007) got me hooked on Sam Raimi’s style. That ultimately led me to the horror genre with The Evil Dead.
Ultimately, I’m really thankful for this movie. It got me hooked on superheroes and even the horror genre.
