The Rooftops

This has genuinely been bothering me for days. After watching The Rooftops, I noticed that Salima Abada was completely missing from the cast on Letterboxd. I contacted Letterboxd support, who explained that their data comes from TMDb and that I’d need to submit the correction there instead. So I signed up for TMDb, went through the contribution process, checked the end credits myself, and submitted the missing cast information. Hopefully, once the edit is approved and Letterboxd syncs with TMDb (usually within about 30 hours), she’ll finally receive the credit she deserves. It’s a tiny contribution in the grand scheme of things, but preserving accurate film credits matters. If even one actor is missing, especially from a film that isn’t widely documented, it’s worth fixing. I also transcribed the entire credited cast, organized by each rooftop featured in the film. for anybody interested in checking out the credited cast, here it is: Terrasse Casbah * Akhram Djeghim — Hakim * Myriam Aït El Hadj — Layla * Aïda Kechoud — Khédaoudj * Kader Affak — Le Prêcheur * Zaki Khen — Ammar * Nasreddine Nouissi — Jeune Dealer * Rachid Benalal — Oncle Larbi Terrasse Bab El Oued * Nassima Belmihoub — Selouma * Amal Kateb — Aïcha * Djemil Adlan — Krimo * Ahmed Dahane — Redouane * Mohammed Jouhri — Commissaire Boubekeur * Hamid Remas — Hadj Mouloud * Ahmed Gourain — Vieillard qui prie Terrasse Notre-Dame d’Afrique * Mourad Khen — Hamoud * Mohamed Takiret — Adlan * Redouane Merabet — Tortionnaire 1 * Mebarek Faradji — Tortionnaire 2 * Salima Abada — Réalisatrice * Nadjib Oulebsir — Caméraman * Mohamed Bendaoud — Preneur de son Terrasse Centre Ville * Adila Bendimerad — Assia * Mohammed Ghouli — Kader musicien * Djamil Ghouli — Nabil musicien * Fethi Nadjem — Hamid musicien * Meriem Medjkane — Neïla * Belkacem Bentata — Homme violent Terrasse Belcourt * Aïssa Chouat — Halim * Ahcene Benzerari — Cheikh Lamine * Hamza Boukrif — Akli boxeur * Yasmine Abdelmoumen — Femme niqab * Abderrahmane Ikariouane — Bouzid * Nabil Asli — Djamel * Abderrahmane Koubi — Chanteur chaâbi * Mabrouk Aït Amara — Voleur de moto 1 * Boubakar Mechmach — Voleur de moto 2 * Amina Tighat — Fille qui fume 1 * Melissa Labboun — Fille qui fume 2 * Fadia Bouzourene — Fille qui fume 3
