Hamilton

I was blown away that I could actually enjoy a historical musical about Alexander f*cking Hamilton. First off, the cast all fit their roles well and my favorite characters were George Washington and King George III. To me, King George III stole any scene he was in. I also appreciate the diversity in this cast, and like the idea how the story is told by what America represents now. Most of the songs were good and very memorable, my favorite song being “Cabinet Battle #1” since it was basically a rap battle. “You’ll be Back” is very good too. On that note, as a rap fan I really appreciate the rap references to real rap songs. The way they transitioned from each song was done so smoothly, like how can actors just do that. The pacing of the musical was really good too, it did not feel like 3 hours long, and I can’t decide if I like Act 1 or Act 2 more. Now I know about the room where it happened. I would’ve dunked on Hamilton, skadoosh. - Your boy Noah
