The Mask
A masterclass of a film. What’s there not to love a great cast, amazing soundtrack, dumb jokes, and more!
Obviously the whole theme about being yourself instead of hiding behind a mask is great but I love how unserious this movie has always been to me. Yes it’s a little cheesy but man they seriously don’t have movies with this cartoonish aesthetic anymore.
The Gotham City-like atmosphere really set the tone, even the villains feel like cartoony bad guys. The toon force was super good, The Mask solos your favorite character.
Jim Carrey is too iconic in this role. The dancing sequences are so iconic, ALL OF US, would’ve joined in on the dancing parts.
I still have to be The Mask for Halloween, keep an eye out, skadoosh. - Your boy Noah
