Superman
Words cannot even describe how much i enjoyed this movie it felt like watching a comic book be ripped off the pages and brought to life.
David Corenswet is perfect as Clark Kent/Superman he embodies this character so well and feel genuinely like they just took Clark Kent from the comic books and put him onto screen. Only nitpick i have is that i wish we got to see him more as Clark at the Daily Planet but besides that i have no complaints.
Rachel Brosnahan is a amazing Lois Lane and is also phenomenal in the role in the way she not only cares so much for Clark but also challenges and push back at him at times when it comes to how he acts as Superman and brings a great dynamic between the two.
Nicholas Hoult is THE Lex Luthor you can see how much he is inspired by not only the comics but past iterations such as Smallville and the 78’ movie but he brings such a real boiling hatred to the character that we’ve never seen that level of on the big screen and is the stand out in the movie for me.
The rest of the supporting cast is great Mr.Terrific is easily my favorite of the “Justice Gang” and i am super excited to see what they do with his character in the future. Guy Gardner is hilarious and killed for me any doubt i had about Nathan Fillion in the role and had one scene i really loved. Metamorpho and Hawkgirl are both cool i just wish we got more from them character wise.
Off first viewing it’s easily my favorite Superman movie and has me ecstatic for the future of this universe and the universe itself already feels so lived in and alive with all these characters already being established and knowing of or knowing each other and i can’t wait to watch it over again in two days and see how much more i love it.
