Oresamayr10.0· July 27, 2024Followi don't know how to write much and I'm probably exaggerating or maybe because it's the after 12AM effect but, i know that this movie is about miyavi and all but the connection i feel with this movie is unbearable, when i was younger i wished i could go back in time but i grew up and knew that nostalgia was one of the warmest yet the most cruel feeling. what if you randomly just got transferred to the timeline when you were a kid? you know exactly what's going to happen, but you chose not to say anything about it so you don't change the future because even if you don't like your current status it's better than the unknown one you would have if you changed anything in the past. miyavi acting so nonchalant and considered 'high' for me is a metaphor for comfort. like you don't have a care in your life.. your mother may not know the current you, but seeing your younger self with her gives you a feeling only you know. also getting to see the 'older' world while being mature enough to realize what's happening or however it's said, the ending wasn't the best but i think it's almost perfect for whatever was happening, I don't know if i feel like this movie IS the miyavi or not since i barely listen to his music anymore but I'm talking about the way why this movie is real to relate to personally, the part where he didn't recognize himself as a kid i think that was meant to show that how much he changed that he couldn't recognize himself or he doesn't remember his younger self and how much his habits and dreams has changed too, but even as his older self he still supported it and acted like that to his younger self because that's what he needed back then. rewatching this was equivalent to watching your favorite childhood movie at your grandmother house, never knew why i take this movie so seriously >.<CommentsSign in to react and join the conversation.Sign inGet the appSee all yr's reviews for Oresama (5)First watch10.0June 22, 2024Rewatch 110.0June 28, 2024Rewatch 210.0July 15, 2024Rewatch 310.0July 27, 2024Rewatch 410.0August 17, 2024
