its a good movie too much sex tho. garnik is the funniest guy alive.

The silent coversations, the father-daughter bond, the way it's shot, this film feels like a distant memory that you would give anything in the world to relive again. I was waiting for it to hit the whole time, so when the Under Pressure scene played I just couldn't hold it in anymore, I was crying uncontrollably, and when you've lost your father at a young age too it just hurt 10x worse. I get now why Aftersun is so beloved, such a beautiful poignant film. 5 Stars

Oh captain, my captainnnn. I waited too damn long to watch this. It is a film that is as inspiring and heartbreaking as it can get. A love letter to literature and to life itself. A true masterpiece of writing with words that will stick with you for a lifetime. Fuck societal norms, fuck everybodys expectations, Carpe Diem.
