WALL·E
Wall-E's smart and meaningful commentary on climate change has Don't Look Up shaking.
Funny how the best representation of loneliness and longing is a robot without a mouth. Wall-E is probably my favorite fictional character ever. There are about a billion reasons why so I won't get into it too much. Let's just say I first watched this when I was 5 and now I'm almost 19 and Wall-E's arc and character has only become more poignant.
It's funny, sweet, smart, beautiful, and timeless. I think this'll be a top 5 for the rest of my life and I'm ok with that. I always feel strange about revisiting this because it feels so special and important. Anyways, I doubt I'll ever be able to properly convey what this movie means to me, but Wall-E will always be immaculate in my eyes and it will keep me a Pixar apologist as long as I live.
