Arrival

Human.  "Despite knowing the journey... and where it leads... I embrace it... and I welcome every moment of it." A film that I love with all my heart. Getting to show this to my wife last night and her love it too was special for me. Denis does something incredible with this film. One of the greatest pieces of science fiction I have ever seen. It goes so much deeper than “science fiction epic”. It feels more grounded. It’s deeply philosophical and theological in its essence. Speaking to time, fate and purpose. Amy Adam’s was robbed of an Oscar nom, and potentially an Oscar win. A visual spectacle with incredible cinematography, sound design and score.  A masterpiece.
