Wind River

Wind River is easily one of my favorite thrillers of all time, and I think for good reason. I love Yellowstone and I attribute some of that to Taylor Sheridans writing and direction. I think that this type of movie is where he shines and I think he shines BRIGHT in this movie. While some of the dialogue can be a bit "corny" and I don't even think it is even that corny. Regardless, I think this is such a well written script and I think this is Taylors best direction in one of his films. With its writing, Wind River is packed with stellar performances, headed up by Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen. They are both fantastic in this film. Easily Olsen's best performance for me personally and I think top 2 for Renner. Their ability to convey such brilliance is impressive. This movie is also gorgeous to look at. Insane cinematography.
