Dune

Yo, I don’t know what CRACK I was smoking when I watched the first dune movie, this was AMAZING, I’ve started this movie many times and have gotten far many times like more than 2 but never finished, so i'm counting this as a first watch (the setting I watched this in the lights were in which worsen the experience but I won’t let that take off points) It really isn’t like boring, I don’t know what I was thinking before, I might of just been tired, cause when I was going through it I really was not bored, maybe it takes a few rewatches for it to really hit, When the plot kicks off it goes and it’s just a constant flows, like the whole invasion is really good, it really sucks you in, its like one of those movies that feel super long but i'm not annoyed with its length, I actually want it to continue and keep going, I like to think of it like 2010 karate kid, cause when im watching that it feels like 2 hours but im not annoyed with it at all, but I feel the length of the journey there going on There are still MANYYY things that happen in this movie that I do not understand at ALL but with this watch this was the most in tune I have been, and I hope that stays when I watch the second one The voice power is one of the greatest things ever and it’s so amazing how it’s used, I love how it was in the helicopter when the mother was using it effortlessly and Paul was still successful but he had to really focus with it I know Jamis had literally like 5 minutes of screen time but I have to say he was really really cool, like he was SO cocky and arrogant but in a cool way and I can kind of understand why he is that way All of the side characters were great, every single one of them Just the aesthetic of the movie is really good too The music was so grand and powerful, like it would take a scene and elevate it to another level The visuals were on another level, incredible cinematography and incredible cgi Timothee chalamet acting in this is so good but of course it’s genuinely on another level in the second movie, I have more to say about his performance in that movie The fight choreography in the second movie is better but it’s still good in this one
