Wonder Man

Wow.  That was amazing, so so great, I haven’t watched a marvel live action show in a while but this was so so good  This is the original super hero esc content that we need, the good quality stuff, (obviously I know he’s from a comic but it’s still a original concept)  As a black actor, woah this show hit me hard, in so many ways, very deeply in an emotional level  Great family dynamics The show is really great at making really tense awkward moments, like at the beginning of the show episode one when Simon was making all those changes tk the scene, I was cringing so hard. AND I DONT USUALLY DO THAT WHEN I WATCH STUFF, I have to be very invested and it was literally in the first 5 minutes  Okay so what in the hell was that door man episode, and I mean that in a positive way, that was phenomenal, like wow, just completely swapping main characters on us and giving us this amazing story, and the Josh Gad stuff was so very funny! I’m okay with this season not bringing back up doorman but it would be really upsetting if they set up that super cool character and never ever touch back on it, but that was SUCH a cool way to explain the doorman clause, like wow. WOW  The score and cinematography, oh my gosh, THIS GUY IS DIRECTING BRAND NEW DAY, Destin Daniel Cretton is officially my new favorite marvel director, he’s 2/2 right now, all of the shots and framing was incredible! Not that basic slop we get, it was stylized! And the music, that jazzy score, so sooooo good  Amazing acting from Yahya, wow, his character work as wonder man was so great, wonder man as a character was so interesting, cause he is very flawed, he’s not good with people and he struggles with being nice when it’s like the easiest thing  Ben Kingsley as Trevor, so so great as well, love their dynamic  Great writing overall  This is also the first time a daydream sequence got me, I can always spot it out when it’s happening or about to happen but I was completely caught off guard and my mind was blown  And the first episode had a really great end, and so did the finale of the show, I was really interested in what he was doing, but when he was driving with the guy to his job it IMMEDIATELY clicked  Amazing work Marvel, another banger show
