The Batman

Brilliant, my favourite Batman movie of all time. Amazing visuals, great acting and an engaging story. Whilst the movie is very long and some don't appreciate the 3 hour run time, I'm glad it's as long as it is. Not only do I think that the atmosphere, lighting and colouring really distinguish this movie from other superhero movies but also the storyline itself was quite interesting to see. For once it isn't a superhero movie about the hero having to punch his way out of the trouble - The Riddler isn't strong, he's smart. There are a lot of great supporting characters - especially Catwoman who I'm glad to hear will be returning in The Batman 2. Overall, in my opinion, a fantastic film. Pattinson's Batman is my favourite interpretation and I hope to see The Batman 2 live up to how good the first one is. I didn't watch this one in the cinema, but I'll definitely go to watch the second one after seeing The Batman.
