I so desperately want to give this film 5 stars but I can’t. I don’t care that my 5 stars is probably influenced by my nostalgia from watching this as I grew up or my love of Star Wars. I can’t give it 5 stars because of the CGI stuff that George Lucas added mixed with the fact that it is impossible for me to ever watch the original version of this film. I am stuck being told the original versions are better but also being young so I’ve only seen the special editions. At least with other film’s multiple cuts and versions you can still watch the original version.
