*This film is a mammoth work that I'm sure everyone should see at least once in their life⁠✧ This film is important because it manages to tell us a story based on the reality that old movie stars lived and live every day and at the same time it manages to tell us What middle-aged people experience feeling replaced and mocked by the youth of that time<3 Furthermore, John's characterization is frighteningly successful and makes us root for him at all times,As for Norma, however, we always feel sorry for her from a certain point of view and then lose or gain her completely (depending on your point of view) at the end♡*
