loaded with big ideas and a heavy mood, but it never really comes together for me. the metaphor-heavy story about fear, illness, and social panic is interesting on paper, and there are a few genuinely striking images, but the movie feels more confusing than haunting. the performances are committed, especially the mom and uncle, yet the emotional throughline gets lost in all the symbolism. i admired the ambition, i just wish it landed with more clarity and impact.

I get the point the film was trying to make, and I think it’s an interesting one. But honestly, I just couldn’t get fully into it. The mood and visuals were cool, but the pacing kinda kept me at a distance.
