claiming my spot as this films #1 fan !! 💊🩸
i'm so happy i found a way to watch this thanks to oomf on twitter. i knew by the plot i was going to enjoy this, and not only just because amber is in it i swear! a notable detail that i like is the camera work/angles and use of sound; for a 2000s low budget film i can tell they carefully thought out the best ways to go about creating suspense, and overall those factors were done very well. i enjoyed the characters as well, each their own individual personality and fun to watch. plot was strong, entertaining, interesting, and the story was easy to follow. so look…for a 2000s low budget film i like it, it’s fun, flows, well thought out, and i think the cast was really great. horror and comedy…yes please !! i had a really fun time watching this.
and of course i have to talk about the star of the show…amber heard!!! the main reason i chose to watch this film (i’m almost finished w/ her discography)! i really enjoyed her role, and the costume dept ate dowwwnnn. i belive this was one of ambers first roles as a “main” character, so crazy how much she’s evolved in the film industry since then — a small little project like this to becoming the leading lady of DC’s highest grossing film! surreal. watching her acting in this u can see how great she is, even back then. i’m not even being biased, but acting doesn’t come naturally to most and she definitely just has the talent even from that young age. also i think it’s so insane to me she’s literally my current age in this film (19) like whattt…my baby😣🥹
