Sleeper

Really funny but meh ending

my first woody allen film. a witty and hilarious sci-fi dystopian film with miles just being a crackhead mostly.

There’s a lot to appreciate about Allen’s early satirical slapstick comedies, but in my opinion, it’s the least interesting phase of his career. They’re funny, but not as funny as his later works, and certainly not as thematically, visually, or narratively engaging. Nevertheless, if you’re looking for a good laugh, they’ll definitely provide that.
