probably the most bizarre film SRK has done, and honestly this caps off his "bollywood deconstruction" thematic trilogy with Om Shanti Om & Fan being the other two. While OSO/Fan deal with it stuff more on the surface, Zero does it more metaphorically but also has an entire subplot dedicated to breaking down the idolisation of actors.
This was genuinely great uptill the last 45 minutes, where it took such a jarring and honestly laughable narrative turn that i just could not get back into it the same way. But still, this is miles above what SRK's peers were doing at that time (race 3 & thugs of hindustan came out the same year loll)
