The kind of complex male friendship dynamic rarely seen explored amongst everyday dudes with such sincerity and emotional maturity. Subtle and patient in its peeling of narrative layers, no doubt too slow and infuriating for some but this is intelligent and highly subversive drama. Refreshing to experience among the sea of mediocre murder mystery episodic outings these days.
