This seems like if you try to direct a David Lynch-esque media but with the taste of Haruki Murakami in your tongue. Murakami clearly took something similar in his book "after dark" as this reminded me so much of after dark and that alphaville hotel. And all those longer convos and sequences, but it's still not well adapted for the screen, not that I hate it, the initial episodes were really interesting, specially with the one with Harry dean stanon. There's a subtle feeling in every episode that is almost haunting to your every sense objects, but the pacing suffers very bad. Very eccentric characters and strange stories, an interesting anthology of some sort that actually would look very charming in a written form but suffers in screen.
