Aight here’s the gist: the premise of this? Metal as hell. Very interesting, original, and promising. The plot definitely got a bit convoluted as it developed and fell flat in some regards toward the end, but overall, I’m willing to excuse it. Solely because I had such a fun time watching this. The characters of the Lazarus team were seriously just too funny, badass, and cool for me to give a negative review of this anime. The found family aspect was executed so perfectly with their dynamic, I loved how each member was so different yet they all had such great chemistry, and their origin stories were so batshit crazy I couldn’t not love it haha. And my god… the choreography of the fight/escape scenes?? Are we kidding???? Saying they were flawlessly amazing is an understatement. And the score was INCREDIBLE. Nothing hits quite like Japanese jazz.  Overall, I just had a grand old time watching this. Definitely would recommend and definitely will probably be rewatching in the near future.
