This show is basically two emotionally constipated college boys trying to reinvent the concept of "just kiss already." Somehow, it's both frustrating and oddly adorable.
The biggest strength isn't the plot—it's the atmosphere. Everything feels warm, cozy, and intentionally low-stakes, making it the kind of BL you throw on after a long day instead of emotionally preparing yourself for. Wang Jyun Hao and Cheng Hsi Ying have that effortless best-friends chemistry you can't fake, so even the quieter scenes stay engaging. The supporting cast does their job without stealing focus, and the romance remains the clear priority. That said, the writing plays things very safe. It rarely surprises you, the dramatic beats don't always hit as hard as they could, and some episodes feel like they exist purely to stall before the next confession-adjacent moment. I smiled a lot... I just wasn't left thinking about it for days afterward. Sweet? Definitely. Memorable? Only in flashes.
