The best scenes don't happen because somebody kisses somebody, they happen because the show lets tension do the flirting first. That's the sauce.
It trusts silence, eye contact, and resentment way more than grand speeches, which makes the romance hit harder. Unfortunately, the pacing sometimes files a complaint against itself. You can feel the missing breathing room whenever the conspiracy starts stacking revelations back-to-back. Another few episodes and this bitch could've climbed even higher. As it stands, it's a damn good BL thriller that occasionally outruns its own heartbeat.
