"Even after the flesh perishes, one can live in the hearts of others, together with the feelings one has for them." this movie means so much to me it's actually rooted deeply within me, i love this movie to a point that words just can't explain it. obviously this ain't scary by any means more of a comedy imo but it just fits the halloween season in an amazingly atmospheric way u js HAVE to watch it near halloween. this is probably one of the most beautiful movies ever, the cinematography along with that goofy ass editing creates some of the most beautiful sequences in any movie and i can't believe there's people who hate this movie, this is such a comfort movie for me. the acting obviously ain't spectacular or nothing but for me adds so much charm to this movie. if not for the actors this movie wouldn't be the way it is. i also can't believe obayashis daughter wrote this movie as a PRE-TEEN. honestly it's so wild and the fact this was inspired by jaws makes no sense to me but imo it's way way way WAY better than jaws in a million ways. the soundtrack in this movie is also rlly fucking good, a very light hearted track but fits with the themes of love and spirits in a very neat way. i also just love the idea of 7 people being hunted by a ghost in a house that isn't the grudge. this movie also reminds me of the evil dead a lot but again imo a way better and even funnier way. i just love this movie too bits and i js wish this movie was longer and if it was, it definitely would be in my top 4 because this is just a spectacular movie. the best horror movie ever made and i'll stand by that.  amazing movie
