Oldboy
"Even though I'm no more than a monster - don't I, too, have the right to live?"
lee woo-jin will forever be the best antagonist in cinema. i love how he just savours every moment of dae-su's suffering and enjoys every. single. moment. the actors face is just so good during all the scenes, especially that scene in the elevator at the end of the movie. the soundtrack in this movie is 10x better than i remembered it being and i really enjoyed it. the song played at the end just adds too the emotion of that very very VERY bitter ending. i really want to see the rest of the vengeance trilogy by park chan wook but i don't think i will anytime soon. having this in bluray is one of my favourite physical media's i have atm its such a good bluray and watching this just made me love it even more. i trilogy believe that hallway scene is the best fight scene in any movie, the choreography is fantastic and the fact it's a one take just makes my mind explode. this movies cinematography in general just gives me brain farts cause what the fuck it's so unique and u rarely see this type of cinematography in any other movie. the fact this aint even park chan wooks best movie aswell.
amazing movie
