i’m not sure i’ve ever seen a film in which a space has been explored to such an extreme extent by the camera. through the editing and cinematography, takashi ito pushes the medium of film to the absolute limits. after watching spacy, it truly feels like i know exactly what that basketball court looks like from every angle and to every extent.
