Phantom Thread

i’ve seen this a couple times, yet feel like this is the first time i completely understood it. it touched me in new ways, which was surprising, but only goes to show the timeless magic of phantom thread. it’s almost exactly that quote alma says at the end, “I am older and I see things differently, and I finally understand you.” and thank god I do! certainly the most romantic film i’ve ever seen!!
