i honestly must have been in a bad mood in my first watch because i can’t imagine why i would rate this any less than 5 stars. an emotional tragedy wrapped up in a tender and delicate bow. the last scene being the most visceral and raw act of love i’d ever seen. the colors and the scenery and the costuming and the dialogue. just so touching
