I wanted to watch this movie for a long time. I was introduced to this film on TikTok in the 2021 and this movie has been on my watchlist since. And now I have finally watched this masterpiece. This might be one of if not my favourite romance screenplays ever written. The idea is so original and something I've never seen before, it is truly engaging, put me in somewhat of a dream. The visuals are one of the best I've seen, it is truly magical and so vivid and beautiful. That's the right word for this movie - BEAUTIFUL. Both little town and Tokyo animated absolutely fantastic, it really helps to connect with main heroes of the movie. I am struggling to find any flaws in this film, it is perfect in my eyes. I am sure this movie will be a comfort movie of mine for the rest of my life, I am not really into anime but this is truly a work of art. I was always wondering if this movie really that great how people say it is, and after finally watching it I can confidently say that Your Name has exceeded all of my expectations. Top 3 animated movies for sure.
