Sentimental Value

as an older sister this hit very close to home.  i loved it, i loved all of it. i had to hold back tears twice. some absolutely incredible performances from everyone involved, Reinsve, Skarsgård, Fanning, especially Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas who I just felt my eyes glued to her in every scene she was in. I would love to see anyone involved be awarded for this, it more than deserves the attention and acclaim.  Director Joachim Trier does some beautiful work, I found myself falling in love with Norway and that house and his style. I was just blown away by the subtle tenderness and vulnerability of the film.  Especially loved the way it became a horror movie from my worst nightmares when they showed the renovations done on that beautiful house.
