Jojo Rabbit
JOJO RABBIT might actually be Taika Waititi's best work yet. What a great film. Exactly the right kind of satire released at exactly the right time, this is a film which strips away evil and reveals just how stupid and futile hatred is at it's core. Your heart will be warmed and broken, you'll laugh and cry, you'll feel moved and feel emotions I for one wasn't 100% sure Taika was capable of eliciting as a filmmaker (or at least not interested in eliciting). This movie has some of my favourite scenes and performances of the year, and I highly recommend you see it if you love supporting kiwi content and hate Nazis.
