Dune

Another day, another movie I love turning into iconic in my life.  Dune will be / is the quintessential sci-fi franchise of my life, and I’m so honored to be so aware of it in the moment. It’s truly fitting to have one of the best world-building directors in current Hollywood be tasked with this universe, and he does it so masterfully. I appreciated this much more on a rewatch, having a deeper understanding of the lore and characters.  Although Star Wars will always be more important to Trevor Smith, if this franchise keeps up and Star Wars  keeps trending downward…we might have some competition THE sci-fi franchise😳
