Hot Fuzz
It’s acc insane. Hot fuzz is genuinely just some great incredibly well done action and comedy. The editing and direction are acc amazing like it had such style and moved so so quick and kept a completely chaotic nature to it the whole time and never felt like too much at once. The writing is also insane and complicated the editing so well, it was punchy hilarious and just so satisfying to watch. Every line had a callback by the end it was so satisfying and funny. Also Literally every single scene with skinner was a treat to watch. Along with Simon pegg being the greatest straight man of all time. The main mystery was also pretty damn fun to watch and played on a classic whodunit really well. And my god the ending. I mean I don’t even have words other than an incredibly powerful and batshit insane ending. It reminded me of inglorious basterds with that insane of a setup with a payoff that exceeded my wildest expectations. Aside from the actual plot all the dynamics between the characters were so enjoyable I HATE the Andes though. The one bad thing about it is Simon peggs arc with letting go I mean I get it but it almost felt unresolved in a lot of ways. Simon pegg and Danny were so fun to watch though and I wouldn’t want too much time taken away from them. This one felt like watching a waiter drop an entire plate of food.
