Ritual

I love Ritual and I always will, but my third rewatch has made me realize that this isn’t quite the 5-star movie I said it was on the last watch. As much as I love some of the scenes later in the movie (ESPECIALLY the one where She is rocking out on the guitar) I kinda realized that I miss the hangout movie feel of the first hour. The Director and She learning about and admiring eachother in the first hour is probably my favorite part of the entire movie because of how they talk to eachother, and I wonder if their conflict in the second half could’ve been improved had it been portrayed through dialogue instead of absence.  I also went into this today with the hopes it would cure my Sunday feeling and that shit did NOT work.
